The 30.5mm Filter Mount is used to attach a filter mount around the outside of a glass circular filter.

Unlike our range of spacer rings, the Filter Mount is supplied with a retaining ring that accommodates circular filters of up to 2mm thickness - a standard size for circular filters. 3mm thick filters can be used as well, but there will be no residual thread to fit a lens cap or lens hood.

To use the Filter Mount, simply place the circular glass filter into the mount and add the supplied retaining ring to secure your filter into the mount. Then screw the mount to your camera lens.

If the intention is to replace a damaged mount on an existing filter, please be aware that these mounts may take a different size filter to the one you already have. By ringing or email us, we can replace the filter mount for you.
