The 46mm Rotating Spacer Ring is used to increase the distance of an accessory, such as a filter or lens hood, by 8mm from the camera lens while giving the option of full rotation.
 
The 46mm spacer ring has a 46mm male thread on one side and a 46mm female thread on the other.
 
This rotating spacer ring can also be used with a reversing ring to increase magnification, whilst also being able to screw to another spacer ring to increase the extension.
 
Be aware that using this spacer ring on a wide-angled camera lens may cause vignetting.
