Product Description

The 55mm Sony Alpha A-Mount Reversing Ring enables you to reverse mount a 55mm camera lens onto a Sony A-Mount camera body achieving greater magnification for macro and close up photography.

To use this Sony Alpha Reversing Ring simply clip one side into the camera's lens mount and then screw in the 55mm camera lens to the reversing ring thread. 

With a lens mounted on a camera in the normal position the image of a large object is reduced in size so that it can be recorded on the sensor or film. When the lens is mounted in reverse (using a reversing ring), the opposite happens. Small objects are recorded at life-size or enlarged.

IMPORTANT: This will not work with Sony mirrorless cameras, which require an E-Mount fitting.
