Product Description

The Lee Filters 100mm ND Hard Grad Filter Set contains three Hard Graduated resin filters that enable you to adjust exposure with a hard transition from dark to light over part of the image, without effecting colour balance.

highlights

  • Reduce light entering a specific part of the lens to allow slower shutter speeds and wider apertures
  • Contains 3 Hard Graduated 100mm Neutral Density resin filters
  • All filters have a hard graduated transition
  • 100mm filters designed to be used with the Lee Filters Lee100 Filter Holder and Lee Filters Foundation Kit

Exposure can be controlled by 1(0.3), 2(0.6) or 3(0.9) stops. For example, when photographing a landscape in which the sky is much brighter than the foreground, placing the Neutral Density part of the filter onto the sky in the frame will reduce the sky exposure without effecting the foreground.

An ND Hard Grad can be positioned in a frame that consists of a dark and shadowed foreground with a bright background such as a sunset. Instead of losing all that detail in the image, the ND Grad filter can be positioned to capture the whole frame as it appears.

Made from resin, this filter is light and easy enough to take with you on any shoot.
