The Sony Alpha SRB Digiscoping Kit is an easy-to-use kit that, when assembled and put together, enables the use of a Sony A-Mount DSLR camera on to a spotting scope perfect for bird watching!



The DSLR Digiscoping Kit is constructed from three separate pieces, which are all assembled correctly upon delivery, that make it possible to attach a DSLR camera to the eyepiece of a spotting scope/telescope. By doing this, the DSLR will work with the scope to capture some incredible long distance photography.

A breakdown of the kit shows a thin round T2 Insert that consists of two threads; one side is a T2 thread (standard 42mm diameter) and the other is specifically designed to screw into the large aluminium Digiscoping Sleeve. With the T2 Insert and Digiscoping Sleeve connected, the T2 mount and DSLR are attached. The T2 mount will have the correct attachments for the specified DSLR. For example, the Sony Alpha A-Mount Digiscoping Kit will come with the Sony Alpha A-Mount T2 Mount.

Once constructed, the kit will slide over the eyepiece of the spotting scope/telescope and be held in place by tightening the screws around the large aluminium sleeve. Now you can switch on your DSLR and see an image that is portrayed from the spoting scope/telescope through the DSLR's view finder.

When ordering this DSLR Digiscoping Kit, please note that the eyepiece size of your spotting scope/telescope is vital. Simply measure the diameter of the scope's eyepiece and make note of the measurement. Then select the correct size from the dropdown menu above. Please read the important information below before ordering. 

Important: You will need to order the next size up from your scope's measurements for this kit to fit onto the eyepiece properly. For example; if your scope's eyepiece measures 38mm in size, then you should order the 40mm kit from the dropdown menu. This way the kit fits snug around the eyepiece and can be tightened correctly.

IMPORTANT: Due to a change in lens mount design by Sony, this adaptor will not support any of the Sony Mirrorless cameras.
